As Process Engineer you are responsible for creating a mass and energy balance model of our first Cultured Meat plants. You will work in the Engineering team which is part of the Process Development Department to advance and scale up our Meat production process.
Together with the team, you will be challenged to design both a pilot and a full-scale cultured meat plant. Your work will be used to steer the Process Development Roadmap and facilitate the decision making. A significant part of your role will be building a model in SuperPro Designer. In addition, you will closely work with our scientific experts in the field of bioprocessing, molecular cell biology, biochemistry, food science, and engineering to bring innovation to your progress. Together with an interdisciplinary team, you will be challenged to contribute to experimental design, to generate relevant input data for the model.
In order to be successful in this role, you need to a curious mindset, determination and a sense of humor to cope with unexpected changes and work in a dynamic environment. If you possess these skills and if you get excited when reading this role, you are the person we are looking for! Having interpersonal communication skills and being able to effectively communicate your results to colleagues with a different expertise background is a plus.

• Techno-economic evaluation of process alternatives for cultivated meat production.

• Bioreactor design based on microbial kinetics and G/L transfer.
