About the role

As our new Cell culture Technician, you will work in the Ingredients Team which is part of the Research and Development Department to support the development of cheap and efficient cell culture media suitable for the production of cultured meat.

You will be challenged to maintain cell lines and perform cell-based assays under close supervision of scientists and other technicians of the team.
Furthermore, your responsibilities are to support research by conducting routine experiments and prepare media and solutions based on set formulations.

We are looking for a proactive communicator with a hands-on mentality and attention to details. You are flexible, eager and able to learn and change.

Qualifications

  • Life-Science Laboratory HBO or equivalent with 1-2 years of experience
  • Knowledge of the common mammalian cell culture techniques
  • Proven hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture without the use of antibiotics
  • Experience of work under GMP/GLP is highly beneficiary
  • Experience of work with mammalian iPSC or ESC is a plus
