We are seeking an experienced Strategy Analyst to assist the VP Strategy & Corporate Development in developing and executing our pipeline of strategic goals and partnerships. Meatable is on a journey to consolidate our position as the sustainable solution to the challenges of the Meat Industry through our position as a technology partner to the industry.
The analyst will work in a supporting role, as a key part of the Strategy & Corp. Dev. Team ensuring we have all the required data, analysis and materials available to find and deliver on partnerships (investors, partners and internal relationships). To succeed the applicant requires high levels of interpersonal skills, with a strong backing in strategy and financial analytics. Successful applicants will be comfortable with ongoing change and the ability to make decisions based on assumptions around how this nascent industry and technology solution will develop. Presentation skills (written, numerative and oral) are a must.
Main responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and financial performance to inform corporate strategies and development efforts.
- Create and maintain data dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators relevant to strategy execution and corporate development initiatives.
Support Strategic Planning:
- Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans by providing quantitative analysis and insights from various data sources.
- Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate potential business outcomes based on different strategic options.
- Track milestones and integrate findings with other functions.
M&A and Partnership Evaluation and Execution:
- Conduct thorough financial modeling and valuation analysis for potential M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Assist in the execution of M&A and partnership activities by coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors as necessary.
- Perform due diligence by gathering and analyzing relevant data to assess risks and opportunities associated with potential acquisitions or alliances.
Investment and Fundraising Analysis:
- Support the VP in preparing materials for investor presentations and fundraising efforts, including market analysis and financial projections.
- Own, update the contact list of investors including integrating notes, actions, next steps per entity to ensure timely responses and progress (working with advisors where necessary
- Manage day to day relationships with advisors to facilitate their work – (e.g. compiling VDRs and ensuring they are updated with latest information; (supporting Finance, Commercial and other functions to integrate with fundraising documents)
- Assist in tracking and analyzing fundraising performance metrics to optimize future capital-raising activities.
Support for Board Updates and Investor Communications:
- Collaborate with the VP to develop updates for Board meetings, ensuring that materials are accurate, insightful, and effectively communicate strategic objectives.
- Manage ongoing investor communications, including preparing monthly updates and materials for Board meetings to inform stakeholders of progress and key developments.
Integration with Finance Function:
- Work closely with the finance team to incorporate the financial implications of corporate development initiatives into budgeting processes.
- Assist in tracking budgets and expenditures related to corporate development projects, ensuring alignment with strategic financial goals.
- Assist the finance team in presenting relevant financial information to senior stakeholders (Leadership Team, Board of Directors).
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with functional leads to gather data and insights necessary for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the innovation team to analyze emerging technologies and market trends that could impact the company’s strategic direction.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement within data collection, analysis, and reporting practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years experience either in a top-tier Strategy Consulting role or within the Strategy function at a leading Corporate
- Interest in the development of the food system
- Candidate must have right to work in the Netherlands

Head of Asia
Singapore - Singapore (Hybrid)

About the Role:
The goal of the Head of Asia is to build and drive Meatable’s revenue streams with meat companies and meat industry vendors, plus related parties of interest (e.g. media, governments) across key Asian markets. The Head of Asia is responsible for Meatable’s performance in the region, including client acquisition, strategic partnerships, key account and stakeholder management, and managing cooperation between clients in the region and HQ.
Main Responsibilities:
Regional Market Development:
- Lead the establishment and management of the company’s presence across multiple countries in Asia, including but not limited to Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
- Identify and drive additional opportunities in the region
- Engage with government agencies in key markets to secure governmental support and funding for our operations in these markets
Client Acquisition:
- Attract and secure clients of Meatable’s licensing model (meat industry focus, both meat companies and vendors to the industry) across the region.
- Identify key target companies, build a strong pipeline of potential clients, and successfully negotiate and close licensing agreements
Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regional clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing ongoing support where needed
- Facilitate cooperation between clients in the region and HQ, ensuring effective communication and support on e.g. regulatory matters, product sampling, scale-up, and product development.
Industry Engagement & Marketing:
- Engage with industry associations and participate in relevant events and conferences to build relationships with stakeholders and build the Meatable name.
- Work together with the Director Marketing & Communications to ensure our company is well-known and effectively positioned in the region
Singapore as test market:
- Work with all stakeholders including regulatory and government bodies in Singapore to ensure a smooth and future-proof operation in the country
- Once regulatory approval is obtained, support partners in executing in-market consumer testing and ensure compliance with local regulations throughout the process, and support partners in setting up their operations in the country
- Work together with the Head of Technical Operations in Singapore to ensure sufficient samples are delivered to execute these tests, and to prepare building out the presence of our partners in the country
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management in the meat industry (includes meat companies, alternative proteins, vendors to the meat industry, buyers form the meat industry, etc).
- Proven track record in client acquisition and managing partnerships across multiple countries, particularly in the B2B meat industry. Comfortable with travel. Good network with meat and related companies in the region.
- Proven ability to lead an manage a cross-country organization, e.g. has run a sales territory or region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in multiple local languages is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government officials and industry leaders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt to changing market dynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, or a related field
